Jones Wins Soundie for Best Campaign

The PSRBA Soundie Awards, honoring the best in Pacific Northwest radio, gave Jones Advertising its 9th award in 6 years.

Jones Advertising won the 2009 Best Campaign Soundie for three humorous radio spots created for The Dairy Farmers of Washington.

The campaign gives voice to those junk foods that call to us and try to wear down our resistance. Fortunately, the heroes of these stories know that the delicious and nutritious power of milk, cheese and yogurt give them the strength to resist.

Donut Leave Me: A morning pastry tries to glaze over its nutritious shortcomings.

Buzz-Kill: A hyperactive energy drink tries to reignite a short-circuited relationship.

Vend-O-Matic: The office vending machine tries to push empty calories on a woman with a chocolate craving.

This is not the first time Jones has won this particular honor. At the 2007 Soundies the Best Campaign Award was also given to Jones Advertising for their work for the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
